Description: Fairly wide chute down Snowbird Side
of Peruvian Ridge. Right side descends through sparse tree, left
side open. Remote and apparently unobserved location makes it popular
with gate jumpers. Because entry cuts a line through avalanche starting
zone, this can be very dangerous. In addition, Snowbird Ski Patrol
is eager to assist in arrest of miscreants.
Access: Through avalanche control gate several turns down Westward
Ho among trees at flat spot along Peruvian Ridge.
Exit: Down to cat track or Snowbird access road.

High All the Time
Difficulty: 8.25
Pitch: 41
Description: Chute beyond Little Billy's on Snowbird
side of Peruvian Ridge. It used to be accessed from top of chute
by skiing right through trees from top of Wildcat Lift and below
gun platform. Entry was through a narrow slot in rocks. Missing
slot nasty; the whole area is surrounded by cliffs. It was never
patrolled. You had to be deranged to ski it, hence quite popular.
Top access permanently closed when Snowbird was opened. Now accessed
halfway down by traverse from Little Billy's.
Access: Traverse from Little Billy's past obvious nose.
Exit: Cat track to Snowbird.
