Description: Tree chute
from Peruvian Ridge wandering in general direction of Hellgate.
Many variations from ridge through trees toward Peruvian Lodge.
Possible to drift through tight trees, emerge into surprise gullies,
nail series of tight turns through beautiful glades (Merlin's Run,
Max's House, Bridge Shot).
Access: From nose chutes, turn left through trees along Peruvian
Ridge to fairly obvious tree chute bound on left by ridge.
Exit: From two thirds down, where condoS become visible below left,
begin traverse right through trees to connect with traversing tracks
below Wildcat to Lift Barracks. Or turn well down slope to flats,
then left to condos and Snowbird access track.
Beware of the now unbridged and normally
uncrossable Little
Cottonwood Creek between flats and Alta parking lot.
